Celebrity News - Been elected Miss World 2013. Megan Young of the Philippines finally became Miss World 2013 after competing with six other contestants in the 5th round of the event at the Grand Final held in Nusa Dua, Bali, Saturday, September 28.
Megan compete with contestants from Ghana, Brazil, France, Spain and Gibraltar. But the Miss World crown worn Miss World 2012, Wenxia Yu, Megan finally pinned to the head. 23-year-old girl was moved to tears when she was announced as the winner.
In the second place or runner-up is Miss France and 1 in the third position was Miss Ghana. The jury chose this gorgeous Megan after she revealed his thoughts when asked why he should win the title.
Megan also said he wanted to show the world that the Filipino people are hardworking. He himself has been keeping her younger siblings after her mother moved to America.
